Brian Ayers
specialises in the archaeology and history of the medieval period.
He has written extensively on Norwich and other medieval town and is the author of the book Norwich: ‘A Fine City’ (Tempus 2003).
He lectures for the Continuing Education departments of both Cambridge University and the University of East Anglia and has led tours of archaeological and architectural sites in Britain, Normandy, Flanders and Denmark.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the Institute of Field Archaeologists.
Felicity Devonshire
has, for a number of years, combined a career in music as a singing teacher and performer with organising arts, music and cultural events.
She has experience accompanying historical and cultural tours in UK, as well as in Spain, Italy and Malta.
She is a member of the Norfolk Adult Education team delivering courses in the Norwich area. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
